ARROW – Eleven-Fifty-Nine

All cat’s out of the bag now, at last! Andy is a traitor, he’s been playing the team all season long. Now we know who is in the grave. It is Laurel Lance a.k.a. Black Canary. Am I excited about that or annoyed? I’ll get to that in just a moment.

The episode starts with Andy feeding John some bull story about Malcolm and seemingly being on Team Arrow’s side which took Spartan and Green Arrow away from the cave in enough time to have Malcolm infiltrate the hideout and steal the idol. BTW how does that man still have (former) members of the League of Assassins (which allegedly doesn’t exist anymore) at his bidding?

CRASH REVIEWS – The Flash & Arrow

Hey guys! I’m so sorry I’ve like being on some sort of personal hiatus for a while now. Had some nasty personally stuff to deal with and seems to be a downside to running a one-man show here, I was hooked up and so was the blog. Apologies.

I have four episodes outstanding to review (2 episodes of The Flash and 2 episodes of Arrow). I’ll just brush through ‘em real quick and I mean really reeeeally quickly.

Arrow - Taken

This episode of Arrow surely isn’t the best so far. I hoped for something more thrilling especially considering it’s the last one before the 3 weeks hiatus. It’s not like the episode was generally bad though but we’ve seen better. It was just underwhelming in my own opinion. I wanted Taken to give us some epic cliffhanging stuff or something to make us want to really have March 23 like tomorrow but the only thing making me yearn for that date is because I’m a fan of the show; so… loyalty. The episode didn’t give me that.

THE FLASH - King Shark

After the escape from Earth-2 and closing of all the breaches, Team Flash had to deal with the death of Jay Garrick and the resurgence of a thought-to-be-dead villain, King Shark who happens to have been under the generous accommodation of evil corp, A.R.G.U.S. Team Flash teamed up with A.R.G.U.S. led by Diggle and Lyla to take down the metahuman who is now stuck on Earth-1 once and for all.

ARROW – Code of Silence

James Bamford truly is the king of stunts and it definitely was once again proven by his directing of Code of Silence – we got pretty load of purposeful action-packed fight sequences which was a warm welcome for me. So Malcolm has earned a seat on the H.I.V.E. board members seat – I guess it’s safe to say goodbye to good ol’ daddy dearest Malcolm now and welcome back the Dark Archer Merlyn. Damien did show his board members who is boss just in case you know their memory needed some refreshing. This episode was basically action packed but not with a lot going on.

THE FLASH - Escape from Earth-2 Vibes

You should not read this article if you are yet to see The Flash Season 2 Episode 14 and if you are avoiding spoilers but hey, bet you knew that already

Escape from Earth-2 picked up from where last week ended and it was true to its title, the team did escape from Earth-2. In this episode, Zoom is on a large scale hunt for Harry; Cisco and Harry had to figure out a way to save Barry and Jesse with the help of Mr. & Mrs. Allen and an initially reluctant Killer Frost while evading Zoom’s capture. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay worked to fix the unstable breach as Caitlin tried to perfect on Velocity 8 to help Jay stop Geomancer who continued to terrorize the city.

ARROW - Sins of the Father

Sins of the Father was an epic episode. More solid than Unchained. Lots of cool sword fights and fights. Subsequent to Nyssa’s proposal to Oliver last week, he had to find a way to play diplomacy to try and avoid bloodshed as long as he could. That, of course, did not pan out as smoothly as he hoped but in the end Thea is saved, hooray!
