IN THEATER THIS WEEK



Happy new month everyone! It’s February and February comes with goodies for movie watchers. A number of movies much anticipated for is coming out this month. The Lego movie, Robocop, Vampire Academy, Son of God… if you have seen the trailers of any of these movies, you will get what I am talking about.
For this week, we have two movies to talk about.



THE LEGO MOVIE
The movie is revolves around the story of Emmet, an ordinary mini-figure in the Lego universe who is mistaken as being the “Special” – the greatest master Builder who can save the Lego universe. With the help of an old wizard, Vitruvius, Wyldstyle, Batman, Uni-kitty, Benny and Metalbeard, a pirate, Emmet will have to unlearn everything he read in the instruction and discover the power of imagination to defeat Lord Business, the evil tyrand bent on destroying the Lego Universe (Read more)

THE MONUMENTS MEN
The movie plays around an Allied platoon comprised of seven museum directors, curators and art historians. They are tasked with entering Germany with the Allied forces during the closing stages of World War II to rescue artworks plundered by the Nazis, saving them from destruction or damage and returning them to their rightful owners (Read more)
