IN THEATER THIS WEEK


Happy New Year! It’s 2014; wish you all a great year ahead. It’s definitely going to be a great year movie-wise because there are tons of awesome movies lined up for premiere this year and you sure want to see them. Hercules, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Edge of tomorrow, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay I, How to Train your Dragon 2, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Divergence, Rio 2, Noah, X-Men: Days of Future Past, 22 Jump Street, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Maze Runner… I could go on and on and on and on. Yeah! This year of definitely full of awesome movie line-ups.





Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and focus on the first set of movies this year getting theatrical release to US theaters on January 3: Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, Open Grave and Jamesy Boy.



Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, the thriller-horror movie plays around Jesse, who after Paranormal Activity stars Andrew Jacobs, Richard Cabral, Carlos Pratts, Gabrielle Walsh and Jorge Diaz and it’s directed by Christopher B. Landon.
discovering an inhuman bite mark on his arm is being pursued by mysterious forces while his loved ones attempt to save him.





Open Grave is a horror-mystery-thriller movie directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego based on the story of a man who wakes up in the wilderness, in a pit fill of dead bodies with no memory of how he got there. He must determine who he murderer is; one of the strangers who rescued him of himself. It starts Sharlto
Copley, Joseph Morgan, Josie Ho and Thomas Kretschmann.






Jamesy Boy is centered on the story of a teenage gang member who lands in a maximum-security prison cell surrounded by hardened criminals where he ultimately emerges with hope and a brighter future. The
movie is directed by Trevor white and Spencer Lofranco portrays the character of James.
