It’s been several months since
Klaus left Mystic Falls for New Orleans and the whole baby, Hayley, Camille,
Marcel (sometimes) and CAROLINE thing especially shines happy light on the
sweet, soft, loving, caring and darling Klaus. The Klaus who would do anything
to protect his baby girl. The Klaus who wouldn’t hesitate to rip apart anyone
who messes with Hayley. The Klaus who as much as he might be angry wouldn’t
exactly hurt Camille. The Klaus who fathered and still loves Marcel somewhere
in his heart and the Klaus who would do even anything at all for Caroline. But,
make no mistake, he is not a good guy.
There are two categories of
people in the world: The good people with a bad side and the Bad people with
good sides. Everyone has both a good and a bad side and so does Klaus but, he
is definitely not the former category. Klaus is a bad guy who like every other
person also has some iota of good in him.
Let’s meet Niklaus Mikaelson, the
original hybrid of an unnamed father (a werewolf) and Esther (a very powerful
witch). He was the one who created the myth of the sun and moon curse for his
purpose of liberating his werewolf side and that is so that he can have his own
army of loyal hybrids. To avoid relieving things we all know, let me just
highlights a few true Klaus’ deeds:
- He wouldn’t hesitate to dagger his own siblings as it pleases him.
- He wouldn’t allow Marcel and Caroline to be together because of his fear of wavering loyalties or something
- He turned innocent people into hybrids to created his stupid army of sired hybrids (like he is not feared enough)
- He killed twelve hybrids just for breaking their sire bonds
- He killed Mayor Lockwood (Tyler’s mum) just to get back at Tyler
- He would have let Caroline died just to get to Tyler (Thank God he has a thing for her)
- Josh would have died. He didn’t keep up with his end of the bargain with Davina. Thank God for her witchy thing to get some blood for Josh. (Personally, I was happy to see Klaus do that because that’s the real Klaus. That’s who he is and it was almost as if that had been forgotten and that was a sharp note to knock off fantasies about Klaus being all sweet and loving. Thanks Julie).
The list goes on and I know you
are already thinking of more. So, in arguing that he is sweet and cute and
adorable… keep in mind that he actually is a bad guy. It can be argued that
it’s not his fault he turned out the way he is, it’s true. He was abused as a
child by his stepfather, Michael but it still doesn’t change the fact that he
is a bad guy.
Ok, enough of my seemingly
pointless rant. My point is Klaus is a bad guy but he’s got a good side too. To
cut the short story shorter, that shouldn’t stop him from being with Caroline.
He will never let any harm come to her and I haven’t seen anyone he is in love
with any more than her.
Summary, Klaroline deserves to
happen. Klaroline should be endgame. Klaroline! Klaroline!! KLAROLINE!!!
